Commercial work

I spend a lot of my spare time doing commercial work. If you're interested in having me work on your project, feel free to contact me. I do both 3D and 2D graphics and design. I've worked on 3D visualisation and animation, designed logos, websites and also for print. Take a look in my portfolio under commercial projects to see examples of some of the work I've done.

Mathias Pedersen

I started out as any other creative kid: drawing. At an age of 10-11 years I started to get into computers, as many other friends of mine began to do that as well. I just wouldn't play as many games as them - instead I'd do graphics and imagework on the computer. I quickly embraced the creative possibilities of a computer and started to use it for many creative things.

A few years later, I started playing around with the endless possibilities of 3D. I had for nearly as long as I can remember been greatly inspired by large 3D cartoon animation houses like Pixar, DreamWorks etc. During my lifetime the 3D animation industry has had its major main-stream breakthrough.

Apart from cartoon animation, I've also always been inspired by the special effects of the movie industry, getting even more lifelike day by day. I've watched the "making of"s on DVD's special features more than the movies themselves.

I wanted to try to recreate some of what I saw in the theatres, and started shooting homemade movies loaded with amateur special effects of all kinds. This, together with my on-going progression with graphics and images on the computer, got me where I am now, still learning and improving upon my skills every day.
